Occupational therapists take a “whole-person approach” to health and wellbeing and aim to enable individuals to achieve their full potential. Occupational therapy provides practical support to empower individuals to overcome barriers preventing them from doing activities aiming to increase people’s independence and satisfaction in all aspects of life.
In My Own Words
What do you like about your work (at The Retreat (Max 50 words) I enjoy meeting and working with neurodivergant individuals. I like the rewards of being able to support individuals to overcome the challenges they have experienced and supporting them to work toward their goals. I like any and all sports, previously playing but mostly watching now.
