I’m an Integrative child psychotherapist. This means I integrate from different approaches – psychodynamic, self-psychology, play and drama therapy, and attachment theory. The therapeutic relationship between the child and the therapist is central to my work. I’m able to offer a range of approaches depending on the specific needs of each person.
In My Own Words
Every-one I meet is an individual with their own unique therapeutic journey. The use of drama, music, play, story and play with all ages creates an energy for self-expression, problem solving and new beginnings. I’m impacted by the inner resources of children and young people and their capacity to heal.
I love art and I like painting – watercolours and acrylics. I like walking in the country-side and wild swimming. We have a wildlife garden and grow vegetables. I like to practice Mindfulness and find this a good way to relax and fully experience all that life has to offer.
